About Sister Roos…
I'm thrilled to introduce myself to you! My name is Hanne Roos, and I've had the incredible journey of dedicating myself to nursing and the care of newborns and infants.
My passion for nursing began when I was young and I then graduated in 2010, where I earned my Bachelor of Nursing Science degree, cum laude.
Following my graduation, I embarked on a fulfilling career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where I spent three rewarding years providing specialised care to premature and sick newborns and their families.
My career path then led me to Vancouver, Canada, where I continued my work in the NICU for an additional two and a half years. It was during this time that my own journey into motherhood began with the arrival of our baby girl. With motherhood came a new chapter, and we made the decision to return to South Africa, when she was just seven weeks old.
Back in South Africa, I resumed my work in the NICU, embracing the challenges and joys of balancing my professional and personal life. Soon after, our son was born, and when he was just seven weeks old, our family relocated to the beautiful city of Cape Town.
In Cape Town, I continued my work in the NICU on an ad lib basis, cherishing the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of newborns and their families. It was during this time that the seed for Sister Roos Baby Clinic was planted—a dream born from my passion for providing comprehensive care and support to infants and their families.
Today, as the founder of Sister Roos Baby Clinic, I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where parents can receive the guidance, care, and support they need to navigate the journey of parenthood with confidence.
I am excited to embark on this journey with you and your family, and I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive difference in your lives.
